Hey man, you never know. I gotta ask just to check. Sounds like it's going to be a corrupt save file then. Let me see if I can find the file location where that's saved at. Give me a few.
I have had this issue on two different systems.
I'm fustrated that EA's "support" is sending me to a forum, while I will appreciate any help offered, I have checked a large number of forums already. If EA's "support" is moving to a "beg the community" support process mold, it is going to make more and more people have second thoughts before purchasing any of their games.
Okay so I did some digging and can't find anywhere that this might have saved on the PC. It appears that it's something we the people can't fix. Sounds like it's server side. Sorry man.
One camo should work for both sides. They recently introduced online loadouts in battlelog so I doubt that it's a save file problem but you may never know..
I experienced this as well, I set up all the classes with camos online, went in game but all the classes that I played reverted back to the default camo. I changed them back to what I wanted in-game and it seems to have saved them for now..
Edit: Played a bit more, the camos haven't reset yet.

I'm not sure but I believe it reset after we finished a round and teams were swtiched.
I am having the same problem.
I set up camo, option 1 (which main weapon with which accessories) option 2 (which sidearm) options 3 and 4 and save them.
When I go to game, all of the options EXCEPT camo are saved and used ingame online. SO, I reset the camo to the one I want to use for each soldier class and play. It always reverts back to default camo though.
