Cannot change origin ID

Trying to edit my basic information and it keeps telling me "invalid origin id" while trying to change my ID. Tried a different way as well but all origin did was keep telling me to login, after I had already done so.

    The "Invalid ID" error usually shows up when the name you are trying to set is already in use by someone else. May be try a slight variation of the name you want?

    Getting same problem, logged in, changed user, but it sends me back to Log in to change username and its driving me crazy.
