Cannot Connect to EA Services BF4 Steam Error 2000

I recently bought Battlefield 4 Premium Edition on sale on Steam, I own it on Origin but would much MUCH rather use the steam platform. Upon launching the game I am faced with a "Go Online" button which simply does nothing.
I cannot connect to servers no matter what I try. some of the steps I have taken are

Clean Boot, Clear background apps, Reinstall game, Reinstall origin, Reinstall steam, Run Origin/Game as administrator, Open Ports, Make Firewall exceptions for Origin/Battlefield, Reinstall on different drives, etc.

I cannot find any useful information on resolving this and I'm running out of methods to troubleshoot, is there anyone who can provide insight or assistance in getting the game to function at all?
