Can't connect to Battlefield 3 (PS3) servers

All day long, every time I try to join a game, a message comes up that says unable to connect to server, please check network connection. It will allow me to join a randon match, but then I lose the connection after a few minutes. Is this an issue with the server migration perhaps? Are more people experiencing this, because there seems to be a lot of games happening?

    you must go into playstore or xbox store and look for online pass. if you have purchased the game, the pass code will be in the case if not you will need to purchase it. When your system updates the code can go missing or be corrupted, so keep it handy.  it has happened to me 2 times already. its a frustrating ordeal but so simple to fix.  PLAY ON!!!!!
