The live chat of EA Help has been of exactly 0 help in resolving the issue and I'm getting desperate to reach an EA representative via different methods. I've been having problems with downloading Battlefield 1 from the EA app for the last few months, ranging from the download restarting immediately after completion, to getting stuck on downloading a 6mb chunk after the main game is downloaded and showing me "Something went wrong. Try again later." error. I have cases #190751934 and #177109888 for more details. Is there any information about that?
Hello @Gri40,
I had the same issue while trying to download NFS Heat, the issue was fixed after reinstalling Windows. I tried everything else, from EA support to the numerous troubleshooting guides.

Hi @danisoff ,
I think reinstalling windows is simply ridiculous solution for such a problem, considering its clearly an error with EA App lol- danisoff5 months agoHero
It fixed the issue for me, Windows reinstall takes 30 min max to finish. If you find a solution, please let us know so we can advise future players on how to resolve the issue. If you need any more help or information, I'm here to help @Gri40.

Windows reinstall takes 30 minutes, then I need to spend over an hour to redo my setup, download everything, fix my *. It is simply stupid to expect the user to reinstall their whole OS in order to *possibly* fix a download issue. Pushing those solutions onto users is simply excusing the sloppy work being done by EA on their new app. The only reasonable help would be pushing this issue up the ladder until it reaches a competent EA representative @danisoff
- 5 months ago@danisoff Yea, maybe I will try this at some point, but I am not sure, that I want to play BF1 that bad. And as Grl40 said it is a ridiculous solution for this problem and the EA staff is clueless.
