I don't think you understand correctly the problem @neoforo87. The problem IS the fact that reinstalling the OS is the only proposed solution to an issue WITH A CLIENT. You following me here? Changing SSD, installing another windows, those things are simply not happening because some indians wrote a bad app.

Don't get me wrong I know the suggestion is beyond wild, but I guess if you were to go over all the steps EA support would recommend, you'd be wasting more time.
Plus it would eliminate some of the unknowns in this equation. For example I read this article last week (not related to your issue since BF 1 uses Fairfight).
So the issue could be on EA's side, Windows or even another piece of software which has an issue with EA app.
My intention was to save you time tbh. I wish Origin was still around, don't remember having so many issues with that comapred to the new EA app.
I myself have an issue atm, have contacted EA support around 14-15 times and the issue is still around and has been occuring since May...
EA support even told me that BF1 has been sunset, asked them how could that be if it's still being sold and available on EA Play.
Waiting for the new anticheat for BF1, it might solve the issue I have.
@Ou7_of_space The issue is ON EA's side, guaranteed. Windows is by no means perfect OS, however it is more than enough to run a simple web app that downloads from a server. Absolutely impossible for it to be another piece of software, operating systems do NOT work like that. As a side note, don't you get discouraged contacting * rajish from support 15 times? By the second time I'm pulling my hairs out because of their useless-ness and incompetence.
As for the article you linked, the issue was with Easy AC, nothing directly tied to the game.
