Cant figure out whats wrong

I just bought battlefield 3 on PC, and I cannot launch it from Battlelog, All of the missions are blurred out or greyed out, and when i try to join multiplayer, it says my solder is not ready.

Please help

    I also play on Xbox, which many have an effect as to which soldier im using? Im really not sure.
