Can't play BF3 co-op campaign with friends for PC. "No friends found online"

I can see my friend online and it says he's in a co-op game with me but when I try to start it says "no friends found online." We tried disabling fireall, starting in administrator, and using IE but ...

2021 I have the same error. game like *. There is a bug that has not been fixed for many years. It's a waste of money to buy the game
