Can't play online

Hi, I am experiencing problems with my battlefield 1942 that was digitally downloading. The problem is I can't play online and I have installed all of the patches, the servers don't refresh because there arent any and evertime I try to turn punkbuster on it says " Punkbuster could not be enabled reinstall the latest patch" even though I already have. If you could help please do 🙂 thank you for your time.
