Challenge confusion BF1

Hi guys so I’m working towards the martini Henry and I need 300 kills and I am wondering, Do assist counts as kills go towards that or is that just a sort of kill on the record not towards the challen...

    Assists as kills do count towards assignments, so any assists as kills you get with Martini Infantry will count towards assignment for Martini Sniper.

Indeed it counts as a kill, it would be relatively complicated to make the 300 kills without assist kills.

Could be, if you only go for body shots and hope for the sweet spot bonus. 😉
