Changing language

I know someone has already come and asked this (and I have tried somewhat to do it manually, which didn't work), but how do I change Battlefield 3's language? Steam has a nice option where people can just right click the game, go to it's options and just change it. Origin doesn't.

I've tried doing it manually, but I get nothing but a blank screen in-game.

I managed to change the audio language which was easy enough to do. Problem with that is omitted audio for certain speeches (specifically in Armored Kill).

I want to change the language of the game to Japanese （はい、私は日本語の「Battlefield3」がほしいんだ）, but I can't seem to change it without getting the blank screen. How can I change it so that it has the latest patches and files in it?
