china rising dlc stopped working xbox one

Started the game up today and all my china rising content is gone. I cant play on the maps or use the weapons. I had to move the dlc file to my external harddrive and reformat it to get it to go away....

    No problem I'd move everything you can except Battlefield 4 you want to COMPLETELY REMOVE all DLC & Add-ons so you can do a fresh install, otherwise you might be keeping a corrupt file thats broken the DLC in the first place.

Try clearing the Xbox One's system cache by following these steps:

1) Un-install the game
2) Turn off console for 3 minutes (Unplug everything as well)
3) Plug the console back in and turn it on
4) Connect back to Xbox Live
5) Installing the game again (before installation it asks to update)

Note: Do not start the game at all while it's updating or downloading.

Also try these two things:

  • Go to Settings> Disc and Blu-ray> Persistent Storage> clear that out
  • Go  to Settings> Network Settings> Advanced Settings> Alternate Mac Address> clear that out> and restarting the console.

Hi Apollo,

I'm having the same issue, and have a question regarding your suggestion.

If I uninstall the game, will everything update (rank, unlocks, etc...) to my current status when I reinstall?

    If you uninstall game when you reinstall it your stats, campaign progress & everything will all be retrieved from the xbox cloud storage (where all your game saves are stored as well as on the console) & EA servers (battlelog) so you will not lose any of your progress, however having said that I have already tried all these steps & it does not fix the problem, feel free to try though as all ypur progress is saved to the cloud and will be synced when you start the game up again.

        So I've done everything that everyone here suggested and it hasn't fixed the issue. Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Anywho, the fact that I have premium and cant access any of the china rising dlc is unsat. Someone from EA or Dice needs to get on top of this asap because this is apparently turning into an issue for a lot of people besides me. I've never had a dlc just stop working for whatever reason. I'll definitely be asking for a refund if this isn't resolved soon. Good luck to you other guys who are having the same issue.
