china rising dlc stopped working xbox one

Started the game up today and all my china rising content is gone. I cant play on the maps or use the weapons. I had to move the dlc file to my external harddrive and reformat it to get it to go away. The file would not uninstall. I redownloaded it and the same thing happened. Im currently redownloading all the map packs along with premium, though I have a feeling china rising is still not going to work (it wouldn't queue up like the other packs. Ive even uninstalled/reinstalled bf4 twice. Its like the file is corrupt now. So yeah, that's where im at. Any help would be nice.

No problem I'd move everything you can except Battlefield 4 you want to COMPLETELY REMOVE all DLC & Add-ons so you can do a fresh install, otherwise you might be keeping a corrupt file thats broken the DLC in the first place.

Yeah afraid so, but it has fixed the DLC, when you download your XboxLive acount your download history will appear on the right hand side of the 'My Games & Apps' section its just a case of clicking install on them, so its time consuming but i asure you that nothing will be lost all your games, Add-ons & apps can be reinstalled easily & everything else (Game saves, game clips in upload, progress, stats) are stored on the cloud so is all retrievable.

So its annoying but only way to fix it as far as im aware.

  • I've started moving all my games to my external hdd so I should be good. Thanks for the info.

  • It totally worked. Thanks for the help dude.

If anyone else has the same issue go to the first page of the thread and find his instructions. You'll have to do a factory reset but it works.
