China Rising PS3 to PS4 upgrade DEMAND ANSWER

I want an ACTUAL answer from someone at EA as to WHY it was NEVER explained to ANYONE that the China Rising pre order for PS3 would not also transfer over if those who chose to do so, did.

We spent 70 dollars on the same game to upgrade to next gen versions, and with the way you have made it, we're expected to play China Rising on a version we're not likely to touch ever again??

I downloaded China Rising free for the PS3 thinking that perhaps if I did, it would trigger some sort of recognition and transfer it to PS4 as well since I did that, and of course no go. Now I'm seeing answers about "sorry for the confusion, but this was never going to happen" basically.

Except YOU NEVER explained this AT ALL!! You never said it wasn't going to happen, you just let people assume it would and now that it has come out, and people have found this issue out, NOW you're bothering to tell us and expecting we'll just accept it!

Anyone else that wants to demand an actual answer or the rightful upgrade we should be getting should also post here!

I've got the same problem, like many others!

The game has been out for almost two months and it's still not working properly. EA should **bleep**ing give us CR for free!

Not surprising that they're completely ignoring people who are complaining about this >.>

EA need to give people who digitally upgraded to PS4 version of the game the DLC for free, this is ridiculous asking for money for something already paid for!

It wasn't EA's deal\advertisement that allowed you to get a $60 game for $10, it was an upgrade incentive from Sony in support of their PS4 launch (due to PS4 not having backwards compatibility) so it's not EA's responsibility to give your free DLC. In actuality you received a brand new copy of BF4 for PS4 at a $50 discount while still being able to play your PS3 copy, that being the case paying $15 for DLC on a second platform shouldn't be a cause for distress, especially since DLC for additional platforms have always been a mandatory buy even if you were Premium (which does transfer for the upgrade as a PSN service in this specific case) since DLC is platform specific.

The PS4 upgrade deal from Sony looks like a good deal to me especially considering the only Xbox one upgrade deal is from GameStop and you had to trade in your old 360 version to get the new Xbone version.

I would have bought the PS4 version had I known BEFORE that they were going to pull this stunt. Not to mention, Infinity Ward/Activision provided their DLC for free if you did the digital upgrade from PS3 to PS4 for Call of Duty:Ghosts.

All in all I guess it really does not matter. EA will lose alot of gamers over this. I have already returned my copy of BF4 back to GameStop and will never ever play the BattleField series again.

Please enlighten me on why anyone who purchased a PS4 and upgraded the game would choose to play on the PS3?

I didn't pay £10 for it, I paid £45 for the PS3 copy on release and then £10 for the upgrade. £55 is plenty of money for a game and I do feel the DLC should be included yes, otherwise has the above poster mentioned no one would have bought the PS3 version and we would have waited and just bought the PS4 copy out right.
