Classes Wont Rank up

Hi, my classes won't rank up that fast. I have played as a medic for about 5 hours and am only rank 1. I have looked around and couldn't find any answers. Apparently, it is a common problem without any solution. before and after each game I check what my level is and it is the same sometimes. I recently levelled up on the assault class after about 3 hours of playing that class.

Please help.

I would like to get the higher tier guns but I can't.

    If you'r XP are counting at all, so it all should work fine. The only thing at that point is, that you probably not get that many points to level up fast.

    Best thing what you can do is, play Conquest or Operations. And play the Objective!(capture Flags and stuff like that)

    I have played several operations and my assault rank would not move. The bar is empty. Currently I am assault 27, I need help so I could be higher

    Yea this * is mad aggravating bro... I'm tryna get some new guns.. Stuck in the first ones you get with every class..... -_-

    I am really sorry for those troubles with leveling up in Battlefield 1. Your progress is stuck, right? What platform are you on? Have you tried to reinstall the game?
