Acquired Origin Battelfild 3. When trying to enter an activation code Origin argues that this code has already been used. Acquired the game via the internet. What's the matter?

same here i have windows 8 will that be an issue? i downloaded battlefield 3 when it was available for free, i got the product code as well but it wont activate ☹️
