Connection to EA online timed out

Why do i keep getting this when i try to join servers on BF1? I have a 950mbps connection download and upload on ethernet not wifi. So many times when i try to join 18ms servers i get this silly message. I can get in a game literally 20% of the time.  I can join 2042 servers no problem even high ping servers. This issue also happens a lot on BFV but more so on BF1.
