Cpu Lag Spikes

Have you already tried to delete and re-install PunkBuster aka checked if the spikes are not happening if you are playing on a non PB server? Some additional information about your hardware might help us to investigate your issue.

I had issues with CPU spikes until yesterday.  If you have an ASUS laptop it may be this issue:

I was suprised as hell when turning off Game First actually fixed the problem.

Several badly designed Asus accessory softwares are equally guilty.
