Servers are still being crashed, there were no official servers up today. Yesterday there were a few.
it will take a long time until they fix it,
only what we can do is still bump that thread here.

I finally after many many hours I managed to finally unlock the Perseverance Perk for my Support Class today. Everyone who tried to do this knows how much fun this is (Do 200 Damage to Vehicles with your repair tool, destroy 2 vehicles in 1 life as support)... And then shortly before end of round the hacker crashed the server and I lost the Perk again.
GIVE ME MY PERK BACK!! I just cant tell you how ANGRY I am right now!!
A friendly player on the enemy team helped me to get the perk a second time today, but seriously.... EA please do something.

Cheaters have been crashing player run Battlefield 1 servers for close to 2 years straight. The truth is DICE won't assign anyone to fix this because there's no profit in doing so. It's more profitable to assign personnel to work on making the next Battlefield game.

this forum is a forum ....
not a forum to talk with dice or the developer itself ^^
if anyone from Dice or ea`s anti cheat department would post here, this would be a sign that they take it serious .
but so far, ,, we just talk with ourself while moderator make sure we talk friendly and nice to each other.

i am getting the strong suspicion that DICE / EA wants this game to die sooner and letting the hacks roam free, even letting them crash the servers.
Heck (pun intended) they might even hire a guy to pretend to be hacker to drive away the players. - 3 years ago
unless EA actually gets rid of some the frequently reported scum.. that might save their credibility.. all other talk is just fluff
- 3 years ago@AfroGermanic ea play cost sometimes just 0.8$ as special offer per Month ^^
any action expect adding some anti cheat software like punkbuster or whatever is actual state of the art is talking " fluffig am thema vorbei" - 3 years ago
@OskooI_007it would hurt their profit even more if word spreads wide that EA don't give a poop about supporting games in the long run that new players will less likely to buy their new shiny game investments
edit: i think most players like to get good at a game and that means investing more years into a game.. if in those years the skill you build up has no future anymore you will think twice when buying the next

bump to EA:
This is still going on
Public ...and Private (paid!) servers are getting crashed, and cheaters just come back with the same usernames
so NO action is taken AT ALL - 3 years ago
bump

And bump again
You're right. No action has been taken and never will be. EA made a business decision a few years ago to drop support for BF1. I admire your persistence but I don't think you understand the business aspect of what you're asking EA to do.
noooo @-Antares65z- we understand the business aspect, dont worry ^^
but ea has shown with battlefront that they arent that shameless to give a * on it.

the player we talk about was right now online playing and crashed a server
@ ea mods.....
6 MONTHS !!!! he isnt yet banned
- ShearersHedge3 years agoRising Adventurer
This is still happening.
EA needs to do one of two things:
1) Close this exploit
OR
2) Make rental servers dirt cheap so we can run our own Ops servers and ban hackers
- 3 years ago@Durch8ruchM It's been a long time since the last time I saw that player. He probably gave up on crashing servers lol

I haven't had any server crashers lately, which is pretty cool. Thanks ea and dice if you took actions. 🙌
