Well, the idiot joined the server I was just in, and then crashed it. Again, ONE person tampering with EA/DICE property and nothing is being done about it.
Team Fortress 2 was released 16 years ago and still get periodical updates, and it has a kick feature on their servers.
Can a member of the Dev team at least confirm that they no longer give a crap about supporting this game so we can stop reporting this ONE person ruining our gaming experience?
Another 2 servers in the last 30 mins always operations , might have start posting links to my MPs office , bad publicity and all that jazz
This is still happening every day.
Some guy joins in spectator mode, taunts the server and then crashes it.
I think they have a malicious string which, when entered into the chat, causes the server to crash. Seems like a security vulnerability. It's hard to get any evidence because the server instantly crashes. It would be helpful if the devs could get a full log of everything put into the chat.
- @stillheten64 We have plenty of evidence of that person taunting, cheating and crashing the sever. We are ready and willing to share all evidence with the admins and or devs. Unfortunately, both admins and devs are MIA when it comes to this issue.
What irritates me the most is the fact you have to finish operation to the end just for points to count, and its not fair we lose hours of work for thing that is NOT our fault, we are not leaving the lobby, we are disconnected and it happened many times I had 25 000 points even without multiplayer just to lose all cause server was crashed by the person. So we all end up losing hours upon hours on end for nothing, cause server can be crashed randomly at any time. Now it doesnt happen only during night I got servers crashed yesterday even in the morning, early afternoon.
The game has become pure stress, cause every lag you see might be sign of soon server crash.
Cant at least this be fixed, so we get points and stats counted even if game ends before by Server Disconnect via carshing by hacker? Then server crashing wouldnt be such a big issue.
For people who can only play during hacker activity - like people in USA E its even worse they cannot earn sraps by playing Operations on rotation cause by constant server crashing mid game they lose all points.
Its really not fair, we paid for the product and we cannot even use basic things.
And big issue is people are paying for Servers renting and this person is crashing their servers even with Admins in the lobby. There is no protection, and I hope EA recognizes the issue soon. For now only that one person has that hack if he decides to sell it to someone EA/Dice should know they game will be ruined and killed literally, cause if many people had that hack we would see server crashing non stop and noone would be able to play online portion of the game. Every time they would not be happy how game is going for them they would rage hack crash the server of would do it out of spite. We already have hackers with aimbots, invisibility in some parts of the day in almost every lobby. I cant even imagine what would happen if server crashing hack gets released and sold to more people. We saw what determined hackers in asia have done not long ago.
This is WAY WAY more serious issue that could make bf1 obsolete in one day.
- @VeterinarMario This is exactly what they want. Making BF1 obsolete. They want us to quit playing BF1 and buy the new game. Existence of cheaters is a perfect tool for this kinda strategy. Buying a game like BF2042 is not what I'm going to do. For me if BF1 dies, whole BF franchaise dies.
@EverblastingLoveSame here, if Bf1 gets ruined Im still not buying any other Battlefield game

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for taking a moment to share your experience with BF1 so far. I wanted to take a moment to make sure everyone remembers our Forum Rules & Guidelines.
If you do run into someone who is disrupting your gameplay and maybe breaking our Terms of Service, be sure to report them here:
Report players for cheating, abuse, and harassment
For more information on Battlefield 1's approach to anti-cheat, you can read more here: https://www.ea.com/games/battlefield/news/anti-cheat-in-battlefield-1
Cheers!
@EA_Illium, we're following all the reporting protocols. I've submitted several reports about him, and after reviewing the status of the reports, I was surprised to see them marked "Resolved". How can they be resolved and that same person continues to cheat and crash servers daily?
This is bigger than cheating in my opinion. He's targeting EA/DICE property including private servers to crash them and he knows nothing will be done about it, and so far, he's right.
We really need the admins/Devs to come here and assure the community they're working on resolving this issue. OR tell us that you don't care so we can stop wasting time with reporting. Thanks,

EA doesn't care.
The representatives in these forums can't do anything other than regrugitate their standard protocols given by higher-ups.
