Dear EA.... Please Stop the Hackers in BF4

This is an open letter to EA asking them to please make a concerted effort to stop glitching and hacking in Battlefield 4.

Have you seen this and been the victim of someone who is obviously using a hack or exploit? I have... quite a number of times. Do you find it strange that some players have an unusual green glow to their online character, or that they seem to magically know where enemies are all the time, and sneak up on them and kill them shortly after they spawn? You are not imagining this. Yes, there are some good players and I am by no means a great player, but I consider myself decent. I've been playing the BF franchise since the beginning - BF 1942.

I'm not some immature 8-year-old. I'm an adult. I've been around the block a few times. I work in IT. I understand networking, PCs, servers, etc. rather well. And I'm also a gamer.

I am however very disappointed that BF 4 is BY FAR the most hacked and bug ridden version of Battlefield EVER. By a long shot. The others are not even close.

Allow me to provide a real-world example. I was playing on a server this evening in the USA, and was certain one of the other team players was hacking. So, I logged out and logged back in as a spectator. What did I find? The other team's players were "swimming" under the Shangai map. I switched to the opposing team, and they could not see the former team even when almost on top of them. I also read text between the players talking about how this is a "back door" that EA created and "knows about" this issue. Regardless, the players clearly found a way to exploit a bug in the game's software.

I attempted to use NVidia's 'shadow play' feature to make a video of this BS, but thanks to Microsoft and Nvidia it crashed... no love and booted out of the game as well.

Regardless, any of you other mature players out there... have any of you run into a similar situation? I'd be glad to start naming names, servers, and times.

For instance....

(Removed - Name and shame) is the culprit using the trick I just described... on (removed) server just a few mins ago....

Want more names, servers, and times? Please someone from EA ping me. Not that you're not aware of what I'm talking about. Please make a concerted effort to stop this *. It is making your games less enjoyable, and may push some of us into discontinuing playing them, and thereby purchasing your wares.

DICE / EA are actively working towards fixing game issues. There are not all that many hackers in BF4 as they get caught and banned quickly, however if you do find someone abusing a glitch or cheating, report them - http://help.ea.com/ca/article/how-to-report-cheating/ don't name and shame them as you did here. That is a violation so i removed it from your post.

Since you are also aware of the bug tracker, you can use that to report issues you come across.
