Ok so few weeks ago i upgraded my windows 7 to win 10 T preview and i had issues with battlefield 4, 3, and Medal of honor wf.These games were crashing after few minutes of gameplay with directX error (device hung or something)so i reverted back to windows 7 and the crashing stopped completely.Now i installed full version of windows 10 pro x64 and the problem is back.Seems like windows 10 directx 12 is corrupt or something but i cant uninstall it so it causes these crashes.All other games work fine its just the origin ones that crash.I tried reinstalling both games and drivers but nothing fixed it.also tried downlocking card, messing with documents folder, pretty much every fix i could find on internet and still no luck.I would really appreciate any info on this. If there is no fix in sight i shall just get my good ol win7 back.

Ok guys i have an update.I installed the Visual C++ update 4 since i noticed that win10 comes with the 3. And i also updated my gpu driver.Played BF4 for over 2 h with no crash.i think that the Visual C++ was causing the problem. Not 100% positive i fixed it. Same here...
After upgrading from Win8.1 to Win10 home, I can start multiplayer games, but the game crashes (freezes) after a couple of minutes and I get a directx error.

Hey man,
I followed the link you gave. It has 3 files but the vcredinst_arm file I can't install (getting a message I can't install the file on my computer)
I did install the x64 and x86 files, however I did have to select as it seems both files were already installed on my computer.
I'll test the game now and let you know.

You only need either the x86 or x64 file. Depends on what version OS you run.
Medal of honor wf still crashes with the directx device hung error. I will test out BF4 for another hour and then also test BF3.

Hey,
I just played 30 min of BF4 without crash. Usually the game would crash after about 5min. So I'm fairly happy. I say fairly, because after 30min game I lost all game audio and my team members would also turn invisible, and I would only see there guns not the bodies.... very strange.
