Previous before patch error version
I also get this error, I have had no problems before now.
I have attached my DxDiag file for reference, I cannot change any setting as the game crashes as soon as I select that in the menu, or as soon as I load a map.
Help would be appreciated.

These games require current drivers, and cannot run correctly on older hardware that isn't supported by the manufacturer for driver updates. AMD made major changes in their "Graphic Card Next" generation that began with the HD 7730, and cards upward / newer from that point. The HD 6000s have been relegated to "Legacy" status, and typically cannot be used any longer.
There are drivers dated February, 2016, which are a final version of a November, 2015 driver. A major cause of errors in this class is the layering of drivers, one upon another. ending up with corruption, so if you haven't been going with the "Clean" driver upgrade option, you'll need to go to extra effort now. A recently released product you can use will automate the cleanup and reinstall.
Get DDU and use it.

This error message covers a lot of issues so it's no wonder a lot of people are getting it. These issues has lots of possible solutions. If you look in this forum you will see many people with all kinds of hardware having different solutions to this error message.
This error is also a known bug in some of the older graphics drivers (this is even mentioned in the AMD driver notes except the new Relive driver) which makes having the newest drivers important - if you graphics card don't receive driver updates / is below the minimum system requirements then you might be out of luck as Windows, drivers and the game gets updated over time - this is the risk you take by running below minimum system requirements hardware or hardware running legacy driver support.
Answers HQ is a place where gamers help fellow gamers. It's not a place where you can ask developers to fix things you think are a problem. If you would like help from the community you should do a little research on your issue and provide the information needed to facilitate troubleshooting of your issue. Like checking what other people have done to solve the issue and perhaps try them out and list to us what you have tried that didn't work. This thread can help you out with that:
are you blind ? in error you can see LATEST available NVIDIA driver version !

No, I answered both of you who posted about the issue in this thread in a single post. If you read what I wrote you will see that post very much so covers Nvidia cards running the latest drivers as well as people running old AMD cards.
This solution corrected that Direct X error for me in BF3 and BF4, and I've read that it also works in BF1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aD6j3xTH-vg&index=75&list=WL
Hi Thanks for all your replies, I've done a clean boot and also re-installed the latest drivers, with no change in my situation, it looks like I'm going to have to upgrade my system, was planning on using my Christmas bonus for that anyway so luckily I've been saving up.
In regards to what corbonic criticized about me and the original poster, I had searched on the forum and this was the only page that came up with the exact wording I used, I had seen his notes before about including the DxDiag file so I made sure I had that, I was trying to be thorough and have the relevant info, much of carbonics requested info is found in the DxDiag file, and the OP has a screenshot already. So between me and him there should be enough to help others.
I should also mention I waited what felt like an hour in live chat with EA support without them responding, which was my first choice for help before I searched around and found this thread.
I have also watched the youtube video raganarok recommended and it recommended a clean boot which I had already done and underclocking my graphics card, which I did not try as the game only just runs on my card as it is.
Good luck to anyone else with this issue.
great news ! fresh installed windows , origin , battlefield and all drivers and updates and what do you think ? That DAMN EA product get the same error :D

I first became aware of this particular error message over four years ago, related to the Crysis 3 game. It does not affect all users of any particular combination of hardware. It may affect more Geforce video adapter users than it affects Radeon users. Personally, I used nVIDIA products almost exclusively from 1999 through 2009, but I started having more trouble with Geforce drivers than I was willing to accept, and experimented with Radeons again, which I found were a better bargain in bang for the buck value.
Any time that no specific cause for one of these semi-generic error messages is identified, a serious application of Clean Boot trouble shooting procedures is always worthwhile.
