I had this problem yesterday after installing ccc beta8
I just bought the sapphire r9 280x too.
Here's what I did:
*tried the directx method (remove the files, reinstall/repair battlefield 4 from origin) - didn't help
*change the region to english(us) - didn't help
*went to ccc-> gpu overdrive -> select defaults at the bottom, turned the settings up just a little bit - games works!
Edit: just set the gpu over clock to default..before tuning it up at all.. I just didn't wanna back out of the game and turn it down after it finally started working again :D
