this solution worked for me:
uninstall catalyst driver
install the newst catalyst driver (13.11 beta8 - 13.25.18-131029a-164333E-ATI)
repair bf4 game (click on the game via origin and choose repair game)
so i didnt got "out of memory" or "bf4 has stopped working!......BUT:
now i got this problem:
in around 10-30 minutes (same map) the game is freezing (similar having a lag in the game) and then the game is loading. a few seconds later the game window is closing....this happens every game now.... anybody here, who got this problem too?
please tell me how you fixed it

I had crashing every time I tried to start the campaign (directx error) and low fps in multiplayer (~20 dropping to <5). Ran the directx setup, repaired BF4 in Origin ("no files were corrupt or missing") and upgraded to the latest Nvidia driver (331.65). Now the campaign runs happily and my frames hover around 40, albeit with the odd big lag moment.
What a relief!
