I'm more than confident that this is an issue that only a patch will resolve and that there is nothing we can do on our end. I don't have another game that crashes like BF4 does. Played Assassins Creed IV today for 5 hours without issue in maximum settings so I know my system is not the problem.

I think I found a possible solution for the problem. Did this two days ago and haven't had any problem since.
- Go to X:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist
- Change the folder "redist" to for example "old_redist"
Hope it helps!
Take care,

This has been a very strange problem for me. It only started happening yesterday and only after I got some weird pc freeze. I dont know if it's related but it happened and then i start getting the directx error happening to BF4.
I tried bf3 and it worked fine. I then decided to try unigine heaven and within 5 secs it also more or less freezes like BF4 but without the directx error. I removed BF4, did a clean install of drivers to the latest and nothing was working, still heaven was freezing.
During one of my reboots I did change bios to default settings and rebooted back to window and tested heaven which worked and so did BF4 later on. I am not sure how heaven is related to BF4. But when I got freezes on heaven then that lead me to belive it's not only a BF4 problem. If it's not then I dont know how heaven is related to BF4. My only thought now is that one of my graphics cards is bad even though I wouldnt like to think so as I got them both like a month ago (2 x GTX 780 LIGHTNING)

I am not to sure what else to try but when I get home tonight I will try to play BF4 for some time and if it happens again I will try each card individually to see what is going on.
