Hi, you might need to manually reinstall DirectX.
-Reinstall DirectX.
1:go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist and find file named DXSETUP.exe2: Install it while conencted to internet
3: You might need to reboot computer first.
4: try to launch game.Try that and see if it works.
EDIT: corrected link!

I don't have a "vcredist_x64.exe". Also my directory is a little different I don't have "Battlefield 4 beta" i just have "Battlefield" C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist
Oops, sorry I posted from the Beta link instead 🙂
It should be this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist
Find file named DXSETUP.exe and double click it (while connected to the internet). It should update your DirectX install.

I have tried everything and I keep having the same issue, I think it's just that directx and origin do not get along because my problem is with fifa world yours is battlefield..... when i check my directx it reports as no problems found....
Maybe they just want us to spend our money on windows8...........................and EA not going to spend their money to sort it out as windows 7 is now becoming part of the past
keep ripping us off...............

Try the method listed in this video. It solved this problem for me on Hardline, BF1942 and BF2142. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3umR5vLcPwoc

Try this:
1:go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\(your game)
2: \__Installer\directx\redist
Erase all .cab (Keep a copy of those on another file outside the game folder
Keep:
DSETUP.DLL
dsetup32.DLL
DXSETUO.exe
Run the game

Thank you
This worked for me
Trying to play BF4 again. When I try to join a server or do single player via Battlelog, it would always say for example "joining server" or "initializing" . Nothing will happen. Origin would say i am in game, but the game is not actually running.
I tried repairing the files, but I would get "DirectX Setup Error: An internal error occurred." my gpu drivers are up to date.
I also tried delete the files in _installer\directx\redist as well.
