Do stats carry over

Need help. I'm upgrading this Christmas from PS3 to ps4 . When I do will I have the same stats or will I have to start over

    Stats do not carry over for Battlefield Hardline, by the way, if you are a Premium member, your Premium membership will go with you, no need to buy it again.

    Unfortunately, this feature is only available to Battlefield 4.

    I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case for Battlefield Hardline. You won't be able to carry over the stats as far as I know for BFHardline.
