Doughboy M1911 keeps disappearing

Hi, I got battlefield 1 collectors edition with the doughboy m1911 code brand new from game a while ago. I used the code, got the doughboy and I was happy until one day I logged on to the game and it was gone! I tried looking for it in customise soldier but it was gone and for a long time I was depressed at the fact my favourite pistol was just gone without explanation. Then recently I re-downloaded the game to see the doughboy back were it was meant to be and the joy I felt was fantastic! I instantly equipped it and I thought they it was back to stay but I’ve just re downloaded the game again only to find the doughboy missing once again. If anyone knows how or why this is happening please tell me!! EA if you read this could you try to find out what’s going on? I’m a huge fan of battlefield in general and am sad that this is happening to me.
