Dust devil assignment not tracking anti vehicle ribbons

I was trying to complete the Dust Devil assignment but I have started by getting two kills on Gulf of Oman, but after getting in total 7 Anti vehicle ribbons it still wont update the first requirement. is there any way i can fix this? I have already tried contacting EA

    In addition to the fantastic advice @CyberDyme has given above, you need to earn the anti-vehicle ribbon in a single round, it can't be earned across multiple matches. 

    Figured it might be worth clarifying just in case. Hope this isn't coming across as being patronising.

    @M4nuSP it can be that it's the same case as with the Shotgun ribbons on a different assignment. That you have to complete the 5 vehicles first and the ribbon afterwards.

    Cause if the ribbon gets reset after each match, then it's only working if you complete the other requirement first because then if those are done and you get the ribbon afterwards then the whole assignment will be completed right away and so it should be saved.

    @M4nuSP It' would be due to the explanation Its_Travis_199 gave above (this reply is more of a +1). You'll need to complete the 'Destroy 5 vehicles in Gulf of Oman' part first (looks like you only need two more at the moment) then get another anti-vehicle ribbon.
