EA stop supporting a lot of games, what will happen after that?
Okay guys so I am pretty sure that most of you already know that the EA will stop supporting a lot of games and that means that the owners of these games will not be able to play online, which is not always a problem but in the case of BF2 and other BF games this just kill the game. I've already spoke with a game advisor and he said that there will be no compensation at all ( in my case it made me quite mad, since I just bought bf2142 a month or two ago). My actual question is that: Can the EA do that? I mean if someone buys a game they must provide a service for that money. I am really upset about this because I just bought a game that only worked for 3-4 months at max, and after that what can I do? I got a telephone number from the advisor (150 595 50) he told me I can get additional information from them but the call would cost more then the actual game (since I think it would be a short call).

Moved to BF 2142 forums, carry on. @ViktorTheHun92
Also it is not EA that is doing this, it is Gamespy that is shutting down there server support and that is why MP portion of the game will go offline.
EA is however doing everything they can and is looking at options, stay toned for more details and check this page for more updates: http://www.ea.com/news/update-on-ea-titles-hosted-on-gamespy .
