Elite 15 Weapons not unlocking on Battlefield Hardline

I have completed the campaign on Battefield Hardline and achieved Elite 15 but for some reason I still have the starter weapons online and nothing has unlocked

So once I've bought all the starter weapons I'll unlock more? Does that mean I need to unlock syndicate weapons as well then?

Yes, that's correct. Syndicate weapons have special assignments and they need to be completed first.

    So not just to unlock the Syndicate weapons but the normal weapons as well I need to do them assignments?

    Yeah, you can only purchase normal weapons. To unlock the Syndicate weapons you need to complete the assignments first.

    But how do I unlock more normal weapons to purchase, I only still have the starter ones, I thought by getting Elite 15 they unlocked online. How can I unlock them normal guns to purchase?
