I have the same problem. I have tried :
- changed my password,
- uninstalled and re-installed Origin,
- re-installed and manually synched punk buster,
- and changed my login id to use a different email address.
- also I tried installing battlelog in a different browser, IE and using that to launch the game.
Last night I spoke with an ea support agent and he said he made the fix but I would have to wait an hour and try again.
It has been 24 hours and I still have the message " An error was reported from EA online" when I try to join a multiplayer server.
I can log in to origin and battlelog fine, but I cannot play any games.
The problem started when I updated battlelog on 10/04/2012 yesterday. I did nothing else to cause this problem. I did not change my password or anything like that until after I had the problem.
Going to open another ticket with EA support now...

As it turns out none of the steps have resolved the issue so far and it seems that this case would need the intervention of the Expert Team.
