Eternal black screen Xbox series s
So currently there is an issue for me on Xbox when I try loading into a dragons teeth for final stand map it black screens on me for eternity until I quit the game

- @ZombieOverlord2 I recommend trying two things to begin 1. do a hard reset of your Xbox by holding the power button until it shuts off 2. if that doesn't clear up the problem redownload the Dragon's Teeth expansion pack
Tried that
Tried factory resetting the console, uninstalling the game, resetting the router, nothing worked
- @ZombieOverlord2 Have you tried installing on an external drive? Might not fix the problem, but it's a good way of ruling out corruption.
- @ZombieOverlord2 Fair play and sorry that didn't help - I had a similar issue a while back and had to format my HDD, so figured it was worth checking.
@ZombieOverlord2 i remember someone having a similar issue.
Try the following:
- Change DNS manually to 8.8.8.8 Primary, and 8.8.4.4 Secondary. Clear alternate MAC address and restart console when prompted.
- Navigate to settings > system > console info and select the option to reset your console while keeping your games and apps.
- There should be no need to reinstall the game or any problem DLC as it was in his case, but if there is then you simply have to reinstall certain games if necessary. Just set up the console again, wait a while for your the Xbox to catch up with itself and then you should be good to test it again.
The steps above solved it for this other person. 🙂

Isn't it working anyways?
I actually run this DNS settings on my PS4/PS5 since like forever, even if i didn't had any issues before.
I changed it because this Google DNS usually makes your connection a bit better and more stable.
So it could actually be a permanent solution 😉
even tho we don't actually know why your issue appeared.
