Battlefield Labs let me sign up, but shows not available in North America region
So yesterday I tried to get in line for the Battlefield Labs. I had like 80k people infront of me, so no way to keep waiting at work. When I got home, I logged back in and tried to sign up again, and it got me right in, and I submitted the information and gave the survey and such. Today I logged in again to read more into it and have the image below. It says it's not available in my region, but only in north america and europe. I had to go back and check my account, and I confirmed my region is set to north america. Is this a bug? I don't want to lose my submission for labs because it thinks i'm in the wrong region when i'm not.EA Scammed Me.
I've got the BF1 from Epic Games and today i saw a discount on a shortcut bundle named as ''Ultimate Shortcut Bundle'' The price of 39.99 was crossed out and 10 Euro was written. I bought it. I thought I bought it for 10 Euros, but on the next screen, EA thanked me for my 39.99 purchase. After that, I contacted two different customer representatives for dispute my extra charge. As a result they did not help me in any way. The EA employee told me that this was a special offer for EA or Steam players, but I saw this discount in the game. As a result, I should not be held responsible for EA's pricing mistake. I have probably saved this company thousands of dollars over the years, but they did not help me with the first problem I encountered. I feel scammed.Anti cheat service not working and battlefield 1 won't open
After launching Battlefield 1, the game's loading screen appears, fills up completely, and then crashes, returning me to the EA App. When I checked the Windows Services section, I noticed that the EA Anti-Cheat service was not running. When I tried to start it manually, I received error code 87 (parameter error). I have tried many solutions, including different Windows versions, compatibility settings, reinstalling the game multiple times, verifying game file integrity, and reinstalling the anti-cheat, but none of them worked. When I attempted to start the anti-cheat service manually, the event logs generated the following output: Diary Name: Application Source: Application Date: 4.02.2025 18:14:03 Event ID 1 Mission Category:None Level Error Key words:Classical User None Computer P4ndaB3y Description: Unable to find the description of Event ID 1 on the Application resource. A lot of the older Battlefield games support Linux, or have the capacity to run on Linux through WINE (native) or Proton (Steam). 1 year after Battlefield 2042's release, Linux stopped working on the new Battlefield games due to changes in the anti-cheat resulting in them not working anymore. Consumers who bought the game prior, when it did work, suddenly couldnt play the game anymore. I was wondering DICE had plans to go back and support Linux again for Battlefield 2042 and the newer Battlefield Labs (that was just announced).New Scene
Battlefield has been great but with 2025 and the new trailer out it feels like a repeat of modern wars that get old quick. It almost feels like a copy of bf3 and bf4 but without the nostalgia. I feel like a great concept for a campaign would be to have multiple different U.S conflicts that are played through a family lineages perspective. Start off with the revolution or civil war and then pick and choose a few wars to build off of. It would cover a wide audience if you introduce conflicts like Vietnam, or Korea that never get exposure. Add in Iraq for modern conflict if you want. Gives a lot of variety for multiplayer maps, weapons and equipment to use which would be fresh. Maybe just me but I’ve thought about a concept like this for awhile.Battlefield 4 via Steam won't launch
As the title says I'm trying to open Battlefield 4 via steam which opens the EA APP. The EA APP then crashes and reopens, I don't know what to do? I tried cleaning the Cache, Checking Files Integrity, running as admin, and everything I could find on youtube and the forums, and nothing seems to work. Can someone help me out?BF3 error - view just spins
whenever I try and play BF3 the cursor just points at the sky or the ground and spins. I have recollection of a file needing to be deleted but cannot recall what one/where from - whether from the game folders or the user data folder, adn cannot find a way of contacting tech support at EA. Any ideas? Thanks
