Wasted potential with the Battlefield franchise! With room to grow it still!
Hello I'm Jarrod. Instead of just focusing on the pvp game modes you EA could do so much more with Battlefield games franchise and to grow it more!? Just imagine a Battlefield game cross with or a little like other games like: Homefront, Far Cry or RAID WWII but with more solo/single player and co-op playability!? It's a fact that atleast ⅓ gamers prefer single player or atmost co-op playable games!? So you EA could even revive older Battlefield games from BF1, BFV ect to nows Battlefield 6 by adding the ability to play solo (or co-op) vs AI bots, but with the added ability to also command your sides squads/vehicle units which objectives to attack or defend kind of like command n conquer RTS type games, but still with the ability to fight boots on the ground like you usually can in Battlefield games! Thanks for listening!Repeated disconnects from Battlefield 1
Been having this issue since the update that introduced EA anticheat a few months ago. After playing in any game, any server, for anywhere from 15mins to an hour, will be booted randomly, with the message "YOU HAVE LOST CONNECTION TO THE EA SERVERS. Online features will be unavailable. Please try again. Please check ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information." Upon hitting the "Go Online" button, I immediately am reconnected and can join the same or another server, but will be booted in even less time. Ping is reliably 50-75, no packet loss, hardwired internet, have multiple people on my network both wired and wireless playing this game on different devices who do not have this issue. No firewall trips, full access, have repeatedly uninstalled and reinstalled BF1, EA app, and BF4, run countless Steam file verifications, and issue persists. Issue does not happen on BF4. I have 300 hours in this game, love it to death and back, and it is now unplayable. Any help appreciated.[Battlefield 1] Ongoing Server Attacks – Mass Kicks, Random Disconnects
Platform: PC Hello DICE / EA Team, I am writing this post to bring attention to a serious and ongoing issue affecting the Battlefield 1 servers. Over the past few days, it appears that the game servers are under some form of network attack or are experiencing severe stability problems that are ruining the gameplay experience for the community. Here are the specific issues we are encountering: Server-Wide Kicks (Mass Disconnections): In the middle of a match, the server will suddenly kick all players at once. It doesn’t show a typical "Ping Lock" or "Connection Lost" error; instead, everyone is sent back to the main menu simultaneously. This suggests the server instance is crashing or being forcibly disrupted. 2. Unexplained Disconnects: Players are experiencing random "You have lost connection to the session" errors, even with stable internet connections and low ping. This happens regardless of the server region or player count. 3. Missing Loadouts & Weapon Progress: This is the most concerning issue. Upon reconnecting after these server disruptions, some players have reported that their soldier loadouts have been reset. In worse cases, progress on weapon unlocks, attachments, or even DLC weapons appear to be temporarily "locked" or missing from the inventory, as if the server failed to save the post-match progress correctly due to the abrupt disconnection. Community Impact: These attacks/instabilities are making the game nearly unplayable. You cannot finish a full Operation or Conquest match. Furthermore, the issue with disappearing items is causing major anxiety within the community—players are afraid of losing progress on weapons they spent hours unlocking. Request: Could the team please look into the server logs for the affected regions? We need stability improvements and protection for the server infrastructure. Additionally, if items are lost, is there a way to restore them, or will progress need to be re-grinded? Thank you for your hard work. Battlefield 1 is a classic, and we just want to enjoy it peacefully. (If you are experiencing the same issue, please comment with your platform and region below to bring this to the team's attention.)570Views5likes21Commentspc disconnecting from WiFi once starting Battlefield 1
I have recently bought Battlefield 1 on Steam, and every time I launch it either through Steam or the EA app, after a few minutes my PC gets disconnected from my Wi-Fi with no error code. I have to restart my PC just to be able to connect to my Wi-Fi again. I have tried multiple troubleshooting methods. I have contacted support. Nothing has helped. Support told me to ask here. I have seen others have similar issues seemingly caused by the anti-cheat. Mine seems unique, though, so IDK what to do. Please help. Will there be any discount promotion for BF 3 and BF Hardline?
I really love battlefield 3 and battlefield hardline, but it's currently out of my budget. Could you please consider running a discount on Steam/EA App for this game in the near future? Many players are looking forward to it. [Title changed by CM for clarity. EA_Claus]SolvedBanned without playing a single game
I just bought Battlefield 1 from steam today and after opening it I got the message " Your account has been banned. Your account's been banned from accesing this game. To appeal the ban open your ban history. Error code: EC:10901" when I open the ban history page I get the message "No history. You have no violations or appeals on your account." Right now I sent an appeal ticket to EA and waiting for their response. Did any of you faced same issue? I searched a little in forums but it seems people facing the same issue years ago didn't solve it. For the record I played only single player Titanfall some years ago. I also got the same message there but I didn't do anything related to that too. Is there a general problem?124Views0likes6CommentsBf1) I need help (new-ish player)
i used to play this on my ps4 a long time ago and got it for $1.99 on steam. downloaded it and I'm so confused on what im supposed to do from there. i try to connect to a server and it keeps disconecting me from it and saying that my connection has too much latency or along those lines. I also dont like how they combined bf1/4/5/2042 into the same menu thing. its also just a buggy mess like screen tearing and the window thing at the top stays without disappearing, and at the bottom of the screen it has a bunch of lines. if I cant figure this out im probably going to refnd it. this makes me really sad because i was looking forward to playing againUnjustified Ban in Battlefield 1
I'm requesting a manual review of my EA BF1 ban. I was banned on the login screen as soon as I entered the game. I have an Apex ban on this account. I don't know if it's related to that, but I remember playing BF1 before when my Apex was banned. I didn't use cheats or third-party software. There was a similar discussion on Reddit a couple of months ago; some people were unfairly banned, and then their bans were lifted. I think mine is the same. Please help. I don't know if my computer has a virus, but I've never been banned from any other games besides EA games. I play League of Legends, Hunt Showdown, and For Honor, and that day I played League of Legends and Hunt Showdown and wasn't banned. If there's any malware, I can run a virus scan. But I think my ban was unfair. Please, TOS team, help me with my message. A team member in the live chat gave me this idea and told me to share it on the forum. I appealed three times, and all three were rejected. I appealed a fourth time today. Please lift my ban. I'm especially addressing you, TOS team. I hope you see this.Solved
