[BF4] Dice Camo Parcel Storm unlock/Easter Egg not working.
Hey ppl, I tried the get the Dice Camo/Uniform from doing the Parcel Storm Easter Egg. I got hit by the lightning and then ran over to the tree to snipe the light in the water but it never appeared. I did it on multiple servers with at least 6 players and from the start of the game. I asked around on a few discords and was told it is broken and doesn't trigger anymore. Is this true? Will it be fixed? Who could I contact about it to have a look at fixing the issue?
Battlefield 1 Crashing Issue
Hello, I am experiencing a persistent crashing issue with Battlefield 1. The game often crashes to desktop without any error message. I have tried several troubleshooting steps, but the problem still occurs. Here’s what I have done so far: Ran the game as administrator. Reinstalled the game via Steam and directly. Verified the game files. Disabled microphone access in Windows (this helped in some cases, but the issue persists). Updated GPU drivers. Installed the latest version of DirectX. Adjusted graphics settings to 720p for testing. Reviewed Event Viewer logs for application errors. Checked Windows and hardware for overheating or issues; RAM, CPU, and GPU are fine. I would greatly appreciate any advice or solutions. If there is a stable NVIDIA GTX 1650 driver version recommended for Battlefield 1, please let me know. Thank you in advance for your help!
Battlefield 1 won't launch on Win10 because EA AntiCheat crash (kernelbase.dll)
Wanted to play some BF1 since I didn't finish the campaigns and to check if the multiplayer is still active. EA version, not Steam. Upon launch EA Anti-Cheat crashes, creating a dump file. When I loaded up Battlefield 1, everything was working fine until about 10-15 seconds passed on the main menu. All of a sudden, my game stops working and completely freezes my laptop ( Like it was blue-screened but refused to resolve the issue and restart). I had to unscrew my laptop and disconnect the battery in order to resolve the issue. This happened twice as I thought it might have been an issue with my laptop. It has only doing this with Battlefield 1 and not any other game. I was able to play on May 2nd, without any issues, but as of today (May 3rd) it just freezes my entire laptop. I have never had any issues with freezing in the past with Battlefield 1 and I have over 300 hours on Battlefield 1. I've tried verifying the files on steam as well, but it said there were no issues.
Battlefield 4 Won't Launch – EA App Loops "Preparing Game"
Hello everyone, I’m reaching out after spending hours trying to get Battlefield 4 to work. I recently bought multiple Battlefield titles during the Steam sale. However, the excitement quickly turned into frustration as the game simply refuses to launch. Initially, I ran into the "Running Install Script (PunkBuster Anti-Cheat)" issue. Solution: Minimize everything and check if you have the PunkBuster service setup running. For some reason, it doesn’t show up on the taskbar, and it can’t install without you accepting the license agreement. Despite fixing that, the game still won’t launch. When I try to start it: The EA App launches and shows "Preparing Game." That message disappears, and for a moment, nothing happens. Then, the EA App reopens, but the game never starts. What I've tried so far: Reinstalled and repaired the EA App and cleared the cache. Checked for missing files via Steam's "Verify Integrity" function. Tried launching as Admin (both the game and the EA App). Disabled firewall and antivirus temporarily. Tried running BF4.exe directly from the installation folder. Contacted EA Chat Support, but after multiple troubleshooting attempts, they asked me to post here. I’ve scoured forums, Reddit, and YouTube for solutions, but nothing has worked so far. If anyone has encountered and resolved this issue, please share your fix. Also, EA, if this is a known issue with Battlefield 4 on Steam + EA App, please acknowledge and provide a working solution.
