What is your favourite Battlefield game and why?
I see a lot of players prefer the older games than the newer ones, maybe players are tired of the WW2 theme?
I havent played many BF game myself and only just started to get into it.

From all battlefields I've played since 2002 BF4 has had the most bells and whistles. DICE devs back then actually put in some work.
Battlefield 2 🥳 is and remains the best that ever existed, it took thousands of what felt like hundreds of thousands of hours to get 3 Stars and another Million hours to get 4 Stars, but only if you were among the best 50 Players Worldwide, the Gameplay was Mega Infantery Only was the purest Battlefield I still enjoy Playing it with friends today.

Reasons:
I feel completely immersed in the game.
The pacific theater was incredible.
Breakthrough feels an actual battle.
Great character customization.
Music was brilliant.
I enjoyed the attrition system.
Fast time to kill.
And many more.
I love all BF games but find BF1 and BFV special. Now that I see a come back of BF1942, BC2 and BF3 on BF2042, I'm hopeful for a BFV part 2 in the future which would host epic battles such as D-Day, Battle of the Bulge... There's no rush for this however because there just isn't enough time to play all the BF versions.
3 and 4 for console
Battlefield 2 on pc(like 04-05ish) not BC2... Battlefield 2. It had my favorite perk... arty strike call in by squad leader.
I’m getting to that age where I can’t remember playing certain games.
1942 always sits in my mind for the music and the crazy helicopter crashes because no one could fly the damn things.
I can’t remember any of the versions befor BF4, I played some of them at LAN parties. But that’s about it.
BF4 is my favourite go to game. But I also enjoyed BF1 for the new maps, and a bit of variety.
BF2042, well, reserving judgement until it gets good. I think it will eventually be my go to in place of BF4. But only if they address squad management and scoreboard.
The most beautiful Battlefield, graphically Is without a doubt BF1.
