FIXED! ALT+TAB Causing Changes in Desktop Resolution & Game Crashing

Question

I've had issues where tabbing out of BF1 caused my game to crash and / or the desktop resolution dropped from 3840 x 2160 to 1024 x 768. After doing some research, I discovered that a new Windows 10 feature was the culprit! If you go and:

Right-click Battlefield 1 > Properties > Compatibility tab > check off Disable fullscreen optimizations, it shouldn't crash anymore.

At least, that's what worked for me. Good luck!

@XTRA-Larsiano&nbsp;Both the desktop and game resolution are set to my native resolution of 3840 x 2160.

Thanks for sharing. Just to check both your desktop and game resolution are not set to 1024x768 by default? Maybe not worth the digging but a clean driver installation could sometimes also do magic tricks.
