12 years agoFPS Drops? (PC)
Hey guys I'm not sure if its just me but I get a nice 60-70 FPS but every 5 or so seconds my FPS drops to like 12 or less! My Specs are: AMD FX 6100 6 Core, Clocks @ 3.3GHz 8GB DDR3 Ram 1.2TB...
Same issues here. FPS drops from ~60 to ~12 for a second and recovers to ~60 again every few seconds. "Perfoverlay.drawgraph" command shows extreme GPU and CPU load when FPS drops. The graph is very low, but rises up to the top of my screen for a second, then goes back to normal.
Intel Core i5-2400
Asus GTX560ti @900Mhz and 1GB VRAM
4GB Corsair Vengeance RAM @1600Mhz
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD @7200RPM
Hope someone can help me. The game is awesome but unplayable at the moment.
Stutters and FPS drops here, somehow I don't even get high FPS at all on some maps ! (Hainan Resort e.g.)
Rig:
GPU: GeForce GTX 580
CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor
Memory: 8,00 GB RAM
Resolution: 1920 x 1080, 60Hz
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3
Nvidia Driver Version: 331.65
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
I've tried all of the following (you should try it too):
- Windowed/Borderless Mode
- Playing with the x86 Version
- Reinstall Punkbuster
- Priority low (in task manager)
- Update .NET Framework to 4.5.1
- Repair Installation
At the moment im reinstalling it on my new SSD (Had it installed on my HDD), ill post results here. Only other thing I could try is installing old NVIDIA drivers.
Nothing worked for me =/
This thing works for me guys :
Open :
Control Panel> Power Options> Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings
then scroll down to Processor power management
then set :
Minimum processor state to 100%
Maximum processor state to 100%
Click on Apply then restart computer and try it !
