frame lag after shooting in battlefield 3

dxdiag http://pastebin.com/EF1kDtPh

after i shoot, as my gun re-centers, it feels like the frame rate drops to 20, but fraps says im getting nothing below 60 fps. other than that, the game runs fine. i have already unparked my cores, and set bf3 to maximum performance. the "frame drop" only lasts a second, but its very distracting. i already got my hardware diagnosed, and im on the latest nvidia driver (beta). this doesnt happen on my ps3, only pc. i cant figure out how to fix this. any suggestions would be great, thanks!

  • Are you by any chance using a laptop? In the dxdiag the only GPU I saw was Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 which appears to be an unspported generic GPU, if you also have a high performance GPU like NVIDIA or AMD which one is it since you referenced updating NVIDIA drivers?

Here are the minimum and recommended specs for BF3 which apart from the generic GPU your rig seems to meet:

    Minimum requirements for Battlefield 3
    • OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
    • Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz
    • RAM: 2GB
    • Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card, ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher.
    • Graphics card memory: 512 MB
    • Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card
    • Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
Recommended system requirements for Battlefield 3
    • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
    • Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
    • RAM: 4GB
    • Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon 6950.
    • Graphics card memory: 1 GB
    • Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card
    • Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version

yeah idk why that shows up. its probably because im running a clean install of windows 8.1, and not the OS that came with my laptop.

i have a gtx 770m 3gb gddr5 and an intel core i7 4700MQ, and yes it is a laptop. i am running the latest drivers for both. i have already tried:

using ccleaner (ea advisor reccomended) setting bf3 to max performance, vsync in control panel, triple buffer on (idk if that helped at all), and unparked all my cores and made sure bf3 runs on my GPU. i run it on high setting at about 60 fps. nothing i tried has worked ☹️

rolling back drivers make bf3 run terribly.

not a hardware issue, i got my laptop checked out at windows store.

thanks for helping, i have tried everything i could think of
