One other guy got in and it is a 4 digit code they are huge, if you press down on your controller it should go up to 260  something so you can enter it.. anyways sorry if it didn't work for you but it worked for 2 people so far..

I also erased the corrupt data and switched to a wired modem instead of wireless connection as well,  the other guy i helped on the BF4 forums erased his game data and DLC's first and redownloaded them after getting in..

IT WORKED IT WORKED IT WORKED!!!!! He's right, all you have to do is clear out your game data, then go in network settings and manually change your DNS settings to what he said. Then just redownload Premium and all DLC's . THANK GOD!!!!! I was about to jump HAHAHAHA

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, it Worked!!!!!

May be too old a reference, but Thanks a bunch.  In NC have been stumped by this for days.  EA not a lot of help - but BangBang guru a ca choo-choo was on the money!!!!

I'm still updating, but past the infernal 14% error message and if not successful from here I'll revise my post.

Again Thanks for sharing the solution.

I wish the mods would pin these solution threads to the top but here it goes again.. Keep in mind it sometimes takes a few tries but the majority of people who tried it got in.. I changed my settings back to norm after as well

Go to network settings, Go to custom setup

Once you enter all your router info you will get to the IP address settings, use Automatic for this. Next is DHCP host name-do not set. Next is the DNS settings, go to manual and enter primary 208.67.222.222 and Secondary 208.67.220.220. Next is MTU setting choose automatic. Next is Proxy server- do not use. Last is UPnP- disable this. After all this is done your internet check should run fine the proceed to download the update. Also make sure your Media server connection is disabled too.
