11 years agoI was able to fix this after being stuck at 42% on PS4 disc version for two days, here's what I did:
1. Delete game
2. Eject disc
3. Hold power button until second beep
4. Insert disc and install
When the PS4 restarts it checks the storage and memory because it thinks you shut it down incorrectly and my theory is that clears its cache which allows the installation to actually start over whereas deleting it from the XMB doesn't get rid of the fragment files. I theorize this will work on Xbone (if that's an issue?) and for the PS4 digital download but haven't tried either.
In the time it's taken to sign in and type this I've went from 0 to 78% but before it was stuck at 42% for like 26 or 28 hours.

11 years agoafter two days of it being stuck, turning off the ps4 and restarting did it for me
- Anonymous11 years agoAfter being stuck for several days and retrying everything mentioned, once I got stuck again at 42%, I ejected the disk then put it back in and it immediately started increasing the download percentage. After about another hour to 1.5 hours, the game finally finished installing.
