Hardline PS4 (in game install too slow)
Dear all, My installation is going way too slow, I've downloaded the game and the update (pre-ordered it) on ps4, but now it's downloading for cca 5hrs already, yet its at 50%. (Full game 50%) ...

So, I ran into this problem and I found this thread via Google.
I bought the game today. It's a new retail physical copy. I put it in to my PS4, and it seemed to be downloading just fine. Then it stopped at 42%. At first I thought it was my PS4. But nope. After about an hour of troubleshooting, I found this was the only game with issues. Deleted, it downloaded it again, then it got stuck at 43%.
So, what is going on?
What puzzles me is that only some people seem to have this issue, since if everyone had it, it would be front page news. Did we get bad discs?
Any official response?
I'll give what seems to have worked for me. Ordered the digital copy last night. Initial install went fine. Played the prolog and saw that it needed more installations. I was tired so decided to put it in rest mode and let it stroke itself all night. Woke up, did a few other things. When i checked on the game i expected it to be done but only 12g/44.3g had installed. I was concerned. Came here Read this thread and did this:
Closed the application.
Checked for update
watched the install start up again
connected network cable
changed network imput from wifi to wired on my ps4
It has gone up to 15g/44g since i started writing this post.
30g left but now its moving fast. If it gets stuck I'll check for the update again.
