There's NOTHING random about the skins. My experiences are as follows;
I have now opened 60 thats SIXTY standard crates in a row without receiving a single legendary skin. Not an exaggeration. SIXTY standard crates in succession and not a single Legendary Weapon Skin, not even duplicates. Not possible if this is random. Bought 40 normal crates, not one contained a legendary item, then earned an additional 20 normal crates through play and still not one legendary skin.
When they dropped the Tsar dlc, I bought around 11 superior packs trying to get the new skins. I received the Cei Rigotti (sp?) 6 times including 3 in a row, and a shot gun skin I already own 3 times. I then got a single new skin twice. I have experienced on DOZENS of occasions getting the same skin two and three times in a row when I already own it in the first place. This has been the case right from the start, where I had a pitifully small collection of skins. I'd still get the one skin I owned multiple times in a row rather than a new one.
I have learned my lesson EA. I will never for as long as I live invest money in your so called RNG in game drops. There is NOTHING random about them, they are a very carefully thought out system for squeezing the maximum amount of cash out of those people who make the fatal mistake if starting on the fruitless path towards trying to buy them.
For the other people who have answered, you clearly don;t know what you are talking about. Sycophancy is sickening so pack it in. Brown nosing EA, how low can you stoop. Thousands upon thousands of people have the same experience so quit with the 'it's random', 'it's just bad luck' BS...
