How do i link Origin with my Xbox Live Gamertag

I think i figured it out! To connect to your gamertag in the email box you have to put the email that is associated with your xbox live account, same with the password. I think they are the same. It worked for me. 

i logged into my xbox account on it and then checked if it said i was connected and i was not

THAT'S THE SAME WITH ME! Since BF3 came out, I couldn't connect to Battlelog for some reason. (Probably because the E-mail account linked to my Xbox Live account is different than the E-mail account linked to Origin) I have even switch the E-mail account linked to my Xbox Live account (which was a pain in the ass) just so I could get a chance to get Battlelog working and get my premium content drops, but NOOOOOO my Xbox Live account isn't linked to Origin! I tried the "Add friend" method, but it just says "Oops... this Xbox Live account is already linked with another Origin ID.

PLEASE HALP SOMEONE!

Okay listen, the email account i linked to my gametag was made when i was six, it no longer can get emails, and i cant fix that. All i want to do is connect my gametag to the Origin account I made so that i can play NHL 13 online. So if there is a way that i can just do that, let me know. Thanks a whole lot for making me do cirlces for a 2 days and figuring nothing out. 

Hey all, I've been at this for a couple months now. Same problem as most of you: Apparently my gamer tag got connected to a random Origin account and I can't get it connected to the right account. Fortunately, I seem to have made SOME headway in the time that I've spent trying to fix this for myself. I contacted multiple EA Game Advisors through the chat service on the EA help website. Finally, I got someone to tell me that what you're trying to accomplish is called a persona transfer case and that it is possible. BUT, you HAVE to call EA's customer service line because only they have the tools to do it apparently? So, after six hours spanned across two days of trying to reach a human on their customer service line, I put in a request on their website for them to call me. FINALLY, I got a hold of someone there. He had me verify a ton of things to make sure that my Origin account was actually my account. After some confusion, he seemed to understand what I was trying to accomplish. He then had me verify that my gamer tag was actually mine. UNFORTUNATELY, I apparently put in a date of birth that isn't my actually date of birth when I made my gamer tag. The ONLY way they can verify your gamer tag is through your DOB apparently, so if you don't know it, you're basically screwed.

SO! My suggestion to those that still have this problem: Try calling the customer service line and explaining the situation to them (I'll post the number at the end of this message). Make sure you tell them you're trying to do a "persona transfer case." It might be easier to put in a request for them to call you on the EA website (Again, I'll post the link to connect to a game advisor at the end of this). That's the only way I got connected with a person.

oh man this was happening to me for ages and finaly (last night) i contacted custumor suppourt about it and the disconected the xbox account from this other ea account so now im able to get it working

Me too. I'm trying to figure out if I haven't played any other EA games before that could've linked to origin witht he Xbox e-mail. Try that.

Why? Why the hell do i need this Origin crap to use a feature on my Xbox game? WTF? I bought Ncaa football 14 to play on my got damn Xbox not to spend 4 hours trying to figure out how to link this stupid **bleep** to Xbox. Perhaps i shall return this game and stop buying EA games since they what you to pay and sign up on a nosy website for the features that use to be part of the game!

I am now sitting here for 45 minutes waiting on an "advisor" when it says 10 - 15 minutes. I am trying to link my xbox email with my gamertag; however, everytime I try and replace the Gamertag it says that it is an Invalid Origin ID. My email for my Oirigin account is different than the email for my xbox (because I forgot what my email / password was for my Xbox) so now whenever I try and switch my email it says that is Invalid as well. This is unreal.

I love the fact with every FAQ, their answer always goes back to contacting an advisor.
