Just because something is in writing, doesnt mean it is legal.
I shall refer to the Court of Justice of the European Union ruling "An author of software cannot oppose the resale of his ‘used’ licences allowing the use of his programs downloaded from the internet"

Since this thread has changed to talk of legal action I am going to lock this thread since legal action is way outside the scope of this technical self help forum. If you decide to pursue legal action have your legal counsel contact EA's legal counsel directly on this matter.
