How do you become a moderator?

Hello this post is mainly directed at EA moderators;

I know that there is no 'direct' way of becoming a moderator other than being a helpful hand within the community but wouldn't it be nice to kind of set some requirements that you had to meet to become one? (I am really interessted in becoming one)
