Bought battlefield bad company 2 on steam, and game is now asking for serial key before playing multiplayer. I searched all forums, many people have same issue, but nobody has solution. This is just another frustrated cry for help. How do i get the serial key?

- @SadZuko68 I assume so, but EA tries to hide better support options as good as possible (typical strategy for companies that are not truly customer oriented). Live chat would certainly be faster. I only managed to find the form for a normal case-complaint.
If you find a way to the live chat, please let us know!
Oh and whatever you do make sure to make screenshots of everything as evidence. Those companies are not big because they are nice. I have just bought Battlefield Bad Company today, I tried to log in, but it showed "Unable to login. Try again". Then I redeemed the DLC CD Keys in my EA Account. Still when I try to log in with the password. It asked to provide Serial Key. But I have already redeemed my serial key in my EA Account. I have even changed the password of my account and also deleted the Battlefield Folder for Documents on my laptop. I have even unticked the Auto Login and Remember Password options. Still, it is asking for serial keys for the DLCs.
Please help. 😠😠
@DeltaDenzyeah,really screenshots are truly vital to that. It took awhile and i talked with 2 different customer representatives. The last one finally helped me by adding it to my ea library and now it is all fixed. So really thanks for sharing that link.
I have ea play on steam, i am trying to play battlefield bad company 2, and i have logged into the ea account, but when i press multiplayer, it says "Enter serial key", how can i fix this?
@SadZuko68Your welcome. How did you get in contact with customer representatives? I found no way to speak with a human so far
Edit: I just figured it out
After the case opens don't trust it. At least in my language it was vague and unclear how to proceed. After writing an additional entry to my case I received the option to start a live chat. The EA representative was able to add the base game to the EA app (not steam!). I had to add the DLC's myself. GO into steam and take the two serial keys from there. Then add them in your EA app library.
I hope that helps everyone else. Please be nice to the representatives. EA might try to limit their customer duties, but their employees are not the bad execs but people like us.
