How many short, random historical facts and in-game info appear in total?

I started counting how many random short sentences, historical facts, and in-game information appear under the loading screen.
I currently count 286 such short messages, but I think there are at least 300.

according to lexicographic order in ascending order (numbers first):

1. 140000 men of the Chinese Labor Corps worked in Europe during the war, performing manual labor to support the frontline troops.

286. You need to activate a Medal in order for it to start tracking towards completions. Only on Medal can be active at one time.
