How to change my platform.

not sure if this helped the OP but for me, I have this EXACT SAME issue. there still is no option under the settings (the gear) on the home page.

Same issue. My platform is PC, and I can´t change it to PS4. No options to change. I have same e-mail adress here and PS4.

In order to be able to change platform between PC, Xbox One, PS4, 360, and PS3 you must first link your console ID with your EA Account as described here: 

http://help.ea.com/en/article/linking-your-origin-account-with-your-psn-id-and-gamertag/  Then play a round on the console platform so everything syncs up.

Next log into Battlelog and you can select your soldier as shown here;
