I'm trying to figure out how to contact origin in order to discuss a refund for battlefield 4. As of yet I have been unable to find an email address or any other form of contact. I would prefer not to use Live chat to discuss these things.

Yeah me too. I feel betrayed by this company. Game has been out on Playstation 4 for a week, and you still can't figure out how to keep saved data files from being corrupted and/or just lost?
Assassins Creed 4 has had 2 updates already and runs great!
Or they could at least give us some PSN credit with the next update to compensate. Why did I pay $60 for this game when I can't even play it til it cost $40?!?
You contact an EA Advisor by going to https://help.ea.com/contact-us
You will have to write some keywords about your problem, then fill out product, category and platform, press “Find Solutions” and then “I Still Need Help”. Then your contact options will appear. If live chat/phone does not appear, it might be closed in your area at the moment and you might consider changing it to: “United States” or something else in the language selector in the bottom of the page for a better result.
As I said I'd rather not use live chat, I'd prefer a direct email if possible. (All I get with the live chat option is a never-ending buffer symbol anyways, but I'd rather be able to actually re read and spellcheck things before I send them, which with me will take anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour).
It took me about half an hour of searching to find the "I still need help" button. It actually required me to scroll down past the text an additional 2/3 pages to find it.

For a refund, open your order history on your Origin
account and use the "Request a refund" function.

contacting a game advisor.

* Fill in "account" in the search bar
* hit find solutions
* Then select product in the first selecting bar, account management in the second and select your platform in the last bar.
* Hit find solutions.
Now you will be given multiple solutions to your problem. To contact support you need to click "I still need help".
Here you can choose a contact option.
